Gardener

VTA Recruitment are looking for an experienced Gardener, based in Cheadle.

Our client provides a huge range of services to the public and private sectors across Greater Manchester. This role will involve working in a cemetery providing gardening maintenance. You must have experience in gardening when applying.

Details:

- £12.59 per hour

- 08:00 - 16:00

- Monday - Friday

Responsibilities:

- Maintain and care for the cemetery including planting, pruning, and weeding - within commercial grounds.

- Use power tools and hand tools to perform various gardening tasks.

- Assist with landscape maintenance, such as mowing lawns and trimming hedges.

- Perform general groundskeeping duties to keep the outdoor areas clean and presentable.

Requirements:

- Previous experience in gardening or groundskeeping is necessary.

- Ability to operate a ride on mower

- Ability to safely use powered hand tools such as strimmer's and hedge cutters.

- Ability to work independently and follow instructions.

- Physical stamina to perform tasks that require bending, lifting, and standing for extended periods of time.
