Demand Planner / Merchandiser Ecommerce & Dropship Focus
Our client, an award-winning business that designs and delivers well-known branded textiles, bedding, home and lifestyle products across the UK, Europe, and the US.
Are you a data-driven merchandiser or demand planner with solid supplier-side experience and a deep understanding of ecommerce and dropship retail?
Were looking for someone who knows how to manage large retailer accounts, especially within dropship models (think Amazon Marketplace, Very, Studio, ASDA, etc.) and understands how to align supply with demand in a dynamic online retail environment.
What Youll Do:

  • Manage dropship and marketplace retailer operations with accuracy and confidence
  • Own the end-to-end demand planning process from forecasting through to order delivery.
  • Work closely with sales, product, and logistics teams to ensure inventory aligns with seasonal and promotional activities.
  • Analyse product performance and sales data to inform stock decisions and reduce both overstock and stockouts.
  • Input and manage monthly sales forecasts and customer stock reports.
  • Place purchase orders with suppliers and proactively manage the critical path through to delivery.
  • Troubleshoot production or shipping delays with suppliers to maintain on-time delivery targets.
  • Use tools like Excel and Business Central ERP to maintain accurate data and reporting.

What Youll Need:

  • Strong experience in a supplier-facing merchandising or demand planning role.
  • Deep understanding of ecommerce platforms, dropship logistics, and major online retailers (Amazon Marketplace experience is a huge plus).
  • Confidence managing critical paths, placing POs, and navigating delays with suppliers.
  • Strong communication skills for collaborating with internal teams and external partners.
  • Advanced Excel skills and experience working with business systems (Business Central or similar).
