Learning Support Assistants - Cheadle Hulme:

Prospero Teaching are currently seeking learning support assistants to join a lovely SEN provision in the Stockport area. This is a full-time, temp-perm position to start ASAP.

Although experience supporting SEN in a school setting is preferred, any personal or professional experience supporting complex needs is what actually matters in this role to nurture and care.

Personal care is required for this position.

The Role:

  • Supporting pupils 1-1, with individualised support
  • Building rapport with pupils and staff
  • Communicating regularly with other staff members and external agencies

Position Details:

  • Position: Learning Support Assistant
  • Location: Stockport (Cheadle)
  • Hours: 8:30am-3:30pm, Mon-Fri
  • Type of Work: Temp-Perm contracts
  • Full time/Part time: Full time only
  • Minimum Rate of Pay: 105 per day, depending on experience
  • Start date: ASAP
  • End date: Ongoing

Experience, Training & Qualifications:

  • Any personal or professional experience supporting complex needs
  • Up to date Safeguarding training within the last year (desired but training can be provided)
  • Any education or health and social care qualification is highly desired
  • A positive, caring attitude is essential for this role

TO BE ELIGIBLE FOR THIS ROLE THROUGH PROSPERO TEACHING, YOU MUST:

  • Hold Right to Work in the UK
  • Hold an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to process a new application
  • Provide two professional references
