Hours: 37.5 hours per week
We are looking for a dedicated Social Worker to join our specialist team at Priory Cheadle Royal, providing support and leadership in safeguarding, recovery planning, and patient advocacy.
You will work closely within a multi-disciplinary team to deliver holistic, person-centred care. This is a brilliant opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of service users with complex mental health needsespecially those facing social exclusion, housing, and financial challenges.
?? Key ResponsibilitiesLead and support in safeguarding practices across the unit
Carry out assessments, care planning, and where needed, Tribunal Reports
Work collaboratively with service users to promote independence and self-care
Address the social causes of exclusion and inequality, including housing, employment, and finances
Promote a bio-psycho-social approach to care and recovery
Support discharge planning, aftercare coordination, and access to community services
Advocate for carer involvement, ensuring their rights and assessments are supported
Attend multi-agency forums (e.g., MAPPA, MARAC) where needed
Empower service users to shape their care guided by no decision about me, without me

You should be:
HCPC/Social Work England registered
Experienced in mental health or similar adult services
Confident working both independently and within a team
Committed to promoting social inclusion, empowerment, and positive outcomes
