CNC Machinist - 35,000 Salary + Day Shift + Overtime

Key Responsibilities of the CNC Machinist
- Set, operate, and monitor CNC milling machines, pillar drills, and lathes.
- Read and interpret engineering drawings to ensure components meet specifications.
- Use measuring equipment such as calipers, micrometers, and verniers to check and maintain quality standards.
- Work with a range of materials including ferrous metals, non-ferrous metals,plastics, and copper.
- Maintain high standards of accuracy, efficiency, and safety at all times.
- Collaborate with engineers and production staff to resolve technical or machiningissues.
- Perform basic machine maintenance and keep the work area clean and organised.
Skills & Experience Required
- Proven experience as a CNC Machinist in a precision engineering or manufacturing environment.
- Strong ability to read, interpret, and work from technical/engineering drawings.
- Hands-on experience operating CNC milling machines, pillar drills, and lathes.
- Skilled in the use of measuring instruments (calipers, micrometers, verniers, etc.).
- Experience working with a variety of materials (ferrous, non-ferrous, plastics, copper).
- High attention to detail with a strong focus on quality and continuousimprovement.
