We are currently recruiting for Site Serviuce Supervisor for our client in BS27
JOB PURPOSE:
To provide supervision of site engineers, overseeing projects and maintaining safety protocols and implementing site processes.
MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES:
- Main point of contact for any site related issues that engineers are experiencing.
- Supervision of site engineers to include quality monitoring and performance management.
- Inform Site Service Manager when parts and materials are in for jobs so that these can be booked in.
- Source and order spares for jobs as required.
- Costing of jobs.
- Provide cover for Site Service Manager as and when required.
- Provide input for preparation of risk assessments and method statements.
- Complete daily timesheets and ensure they are handed in as per procedure.
- To be available for call out shift or overtime as directed by the Site Service Manager.
- Assess training needs and provide relevant training and coaching where necessary.
- Perform any other duties within your capabilities as directed by the Company.
SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
- Proven experience in engineering/manufacturing background.
- Mechanical and Electrical knowledge.
- Knowledge of safety protocols and PPE.
- Excellent people management skills.
- Concise communication skills.
- Willingness to work outside of normal working hours.
- Customer and engineer focussed.
- Solution focusses with great problem solving skills.
- Proficient computer skills
