Role responsibilities

  • Preparing year-end financial statements for limited companies, partnerships and sole traders
  • Reviewing bookkeeping, VAT returns and management accounts prepared by junior staff
  • Providing insightful financial commentary and business advice to clients
  • Ensuring compliance with relevant accounting standards and HMRC requirements
  • Building strong client relationships and acting as a main point of contact
  • Supporting team development through mentoring and reviewing junior staff work
  • Assisting with budgeting, forecasting and cash flow preparation as required
