This multi-disciplinary property consultancy is seeking an experienced Structural Engineer to join their established engineering team in Essex. This role offers the opportunity to work on a diverse range of projects across the UK, providing technical expertise and ensuring compliance with all relevant design standards and regulations.
The successful candidate will play an integral part in the design and delivery of structural engineering services, collaborating closely with internal disciplines and external stakeholders to deliver high-quality, sustainable solutions.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Carry out site inspections and assess existing structures for repair or replacement requirements.
  • Design and develop new structures or modifications to existing ones in accordance with design codes and standards.
  • Prepare detailed structural calculations, drawings, reports, and technical specifications.
  • Coordinate with other disciplines to ensure full integration of structural elements.
  • Participate in design reviews, project meetings, and site visits as required.
  • Provide technical guidance and support to junior engineers.
Requirements:
  • Proficient in AutoCAD and Revit.
  • Relevant degree or apprenticeship in Structural or Civil Engineering with proven industry experience.
  • Chartered Engineer status or working towards chartership.
  • Willingness to travel for site visits and client meetings.
  • Full UK driving licence with access to own vehicle
