The Role of the Production Operative;

The Production Operative will:

Uphold strict Health & Safety, Quality, and Hygiene standards, reporting issues without delay.
Carry out dimensional and visual checks to ensure compliance with specifications.
Set and operate machinery both manually and through computer systems.
Demonstrate flexibility across different machines, ensuring equipment is properly cleaned and maintained.
Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives under the guidance of the Team Leader.
Maintain accurate production records while helping improve KPIs through efficient resource use.
Reduce downtime by planning ahead and ensuring material availability.
Assist in task prioritisation to maximise overall team productivity.
