Delivery Driver
| £12.67ph / £28,000 per year | 9am-6pm Monday to Friday | Based in Hanningfield, Essex
Adore Recruitment are proud to be working with a long-standing, family-run plumbing distribution business based in Hanningfield, Essex. They are now looking for a professional and friendly Van Driver to join their team as the face of their business.
This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys driving, meeting customers, and delivering excellent service as part of a supportive and hardworking team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Driving a company van to deliver plumbing materials to trade customers and sites across the region
- Providing excellent customer service at every drop - professional, polite, and helpful
- Loading and unloading goods in a safe and timely manner
- Completing daily vehicle checks and maintaining cleanliness of the vehicle
- Assisting in the warehouse when required (loading, picking, etc.)
Requirements:
- Full UK driving licence (maximum 6 points, no active disqualifications)
- Previous experience in a multi-drop delivery or customer-facing driving role
- Confident, friendly, and professional - you’ll be the face of the business on the road
- Reliable, adaptable, and comfortable working both independently and as part of a team
- Physically fit and able to lift/load plumbing materials where necessary
- Must have own transport to get to site (location is not easily accessible by public transport)
Pay & Hours:
- £12.67 per hour / £28,000 per year
- Monday to Friday, 9:00am - 6:00pm
- 42.5 paid hours per week
- Overtime available
