We're on the lookout for a Trials Manager to lead a dynamic team at one of the UK's leading agricultural research sites.

In this exciting role, you'll take charge of planning, running, and analysing high-impact field trials that shape the future of farming. From testing new crop varieties and smart farming tech to boosting soil health and yields - you'll be right at the heart of agri-innovation.

What You'll Be Doing:

  • Designing and managing top-tier agricultural trials in line with ORETO standards
  • Collaborating with growers, agronomists, and tech teams to gather meaningful data
  • Bringing in cutting-edge tools (yes - drones, robotics, and more!)
  • Managing key research projects and sharing results at industry events
  • Leading a skilled team - from recruitment to training and daily operations
  • Keeping safety and compliance top of mind, every step of the way

What You'll Need:

  • A background in agriculture (qualification or solid experience)
  • Certifications like PA1, PA6, PA11 (plus bonus points for BASIS, FACTS, Telehandler & ATV)
  • Great organisational skills and the flexibility to thrive in a seasonal, hands-on role
