Position: Behaviour Mentor Teaching Assistant
Location: Chelmsford
Salary Scale: £80-£115 per day (Depending on experience)
Contract Type: Full-time
Responsibilities:
- As a Behaviour Mentor Teaching Assistant you will provide targeted support to students to address challenging behaviour.
- Implement and monitor individual behaviour support plans.
- As a Behaviour Mentor Teaching Assistant you will collaborate with teachers, SENCOs, and external agencies to address specific needs.
- Foster positive relationships with students to encourage their social and emotional development.
- As a Behaviour Mentor Teaching Assistant you will contribute to the development and implementation of school-wide behaviour initiatives.
- Provide feedback to teachers and parents on the progress of behaviour support plans.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Proven experience in a similar Teaching Assistant role is advantageous.
- As a Behaviour Mentor Teaching Assistant you will have empathy and a genuine passion for promoting positive behavior in students.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- As a Behaviour Mentor Teaching Assistant you will have the ability to work collaboratively with teachers, students, and parents.
- Knowledge of relevant behaviour management strategies and interventions.
