An excellent secondary school in Chelmsford is looking to appoint a Graduate Maths Teaching Assistant to join their supportive and high-achieving Maths department. This is a fantastic opportunity for a motivated and enthusiastic graduate to gain valuable classroom experience before pursuing a career in teaching.


The Role:
Supporting students in KS3 and KS4 Maths lessons
Working closely with teachers to plan and deliver engaging learning activities
Providing one-to-one or small group interventions for students who need additional support
Helping to raise attainment and build students confidence in mathematics
Assisting with classroom management and lesson preparation


The Ideal Candidate:
Holds a degree in Mathematics (or a related subject)
Has a strong academic background and excellent communication skills
Is considering a future in teaching or education
Is enthusiastic, patient, and committed to helping young people succeed
Experience working with young people (desirable but not essential)
