A mid-Essex national distributor is seeking a detail-oriented Commercial Finance Analyst for a 12-month fixed-term contract.
The role involves supporting the Head of Commercial Finance in analyzing and reporting financial performance across multiple brands and functions.
Candidates should have strong Microsoft Excel skills and experience in Power BI report development, with a preference for previous experience in a commercial finance role.
The position offers a salary of £35,000 to £45,000 per annum, depending on experience.

We have partnered with a mid-Essex national distributer, who are seeking a detail-oriented and driven Commercial Finance Analyst, on a 12 month fixed term contract.You’ll play a vital role in supporting the Head of Commercial Finance in analysing and reporting the financial performance. This is a fantastic opportunity to work across multiple brands and functions, including commercial, sales, operations, and the wider finance team.Key Responsibilities include?? Prepare daily sales tracker and performance reports?? Conduct monthly stock, margin, and sales out analyses?? Generate management KPI and exception reports?? Support budgeting, forecasting, and ad hoc analysis?? Develop Power BI dashboards and reports?? Improve and automate financial processes and reporting?? Raise rebate invoices and credit notesRequired skills / knowledge? Strong Microsoft Excel skills (essential)? Experience in Power BI report development? Understanding of stock management and operational finance? Highly analytical with excellent attention to detail?
