We are seeking a Training & Competency (T&C) Manager to oversee the T&C function within our financial services group. This role involves managing T&C Supervisors and supporting the line management of various financial professionals to ensure compliance with FCA regulations and internal policies.

Day-to-Day of the Role:
  • Manage T&C Supervisors, ensuring compliance with business practices and regulatory requirements.
  • Maintain and update the company T&C scheme, reporting useful Management Information (MI) to senior management.
  • Oversee the training and competency of regulated individuals, ensuring adherence to business and regulatory standards.
  • Develop and implement training plans, delivering sessions both in groups and individually.
  • Monitor transactions across the business to ensure compliance with company benchmarks and FCA regulations.
  • Report material breaches and use feedback to identify training opportunities that improve service delivery and performance.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
  • Previous experience in a similar role within the Financial Services industry.
  • Minimum level 4 Diploma in Regulated Financial Planning (DipPFS or DipFA).
  • Strong knowledge of FCA Principles and Rules.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office products including Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
  • Ability to deliver accurate, relevant, and timely information.
  • Excellent critical thinking and analytical skills.
