As a Shipping Administrator, you’ll be the key point of contact between internal teams, global suppliers, customers, and transport companies. Your role is all about ensuring a smooth, efficient, and professional service across every stage of the Ocean export process

Key Responsibilities
  • Create and manage shipment files in our operational systems.

  • Arrange freight collections with overseas shippers.

  • Build strong, professional relationships with customers to support and grow business opportunities.

  • Check, track, and finalise shipping documents for accuracy and compliance.

  • Keep customers and internal stakeholders updated on the status of shipments.

  • Collaborate with overseas offices and internal departments to progress files and solve issues.

  • Gather all necessary shipment information to meet customer and compliance needs.

  • Process electronic booking data (EDI) into correct formats.

  • Prepare and issue shipping documentation.

  • Carry out any additional duties to support the smooth running of the department.

    Seeking experience on Ocean Export clerk, minimum of 2 years. Would consider somebody if they have ocean import operations experience if they were looking for a new challenge and had the right attitude and skills to learn.Monday to Friday 9.00-17.00pm ( ideally some flexibility for a 12.00 - 8pm shift once or twice a week as this would give more scope for working on the US time zone)
