We are recruiting on behalf of a UKAS accredited Asbestos company, who have a strong presence in the South East of England and great reputation within the industry. They are looking for a P401 qualified Asbestos Bulk Analyst, to join their busy laboratory. The company is a privately-owned outfit, who can support further training and development to hardworking individuals. They are offering competitive salaries and benefits to the successful applicant.
Our client can consider candidates who are based in / around the following areas: Chelmsford, Billericay, Mitcham, Maldon, Braintree, Harlow, Sawbridgeworth, Epping, Cheshunt, Bishop's Stortford, Enfield, Chigwell, Romford, Billericay, Wickford, Basildon, South Benfleet, Rochford, Hatfield, Potters Bar, Welwyn Garden City, Borehamwood, Saffron Walden.
Experience / Qualifications:
- Will hold the BOHS P401 qualification
- Able to undertake bulk analysis of suspected asbestos samples
- Methodical and organised work style
- Good eye for detail
- Strong literacy and numeracy skills
- Comfortable using IT software and databases
The Role:
- Receiving samples into the laboratory for analysis
- Using PLM and stereo-microscopy methods to complete analysis on samples
- Recording results on an internal database
- Creating result certificates
- Maintaining laboratory equipment, so they are in good working condition
- Working to agreed deadlines and targets
- Supporting training to new members of staff
