Location: Chelmsford, Cowes - hybrid (generous relocation)
Salary: 65,000 - 75,000 DOE + bonus
Principal RF Engineer overview:
This technical role focuses on the RF aspects of hardware design, developing solutions for new products and integrating technologies into legacy systems.
What you'll be doing - Principal RF Engineer
- Detailed RF circuit design including component selection, evaluation, simulation, schematic capture, and preparing guidance for PCB design teams
- Electromagnetic simulation and analysis
- Specification of bespoke procured hardware
- Design verification using a combination of simulation, analysis, and test
- Generate design documentation and technical reports
- Adherence to Engineering Lifecycle and contributing to progress, peer, and design reviews
Your skills and experiences - Principal RF Engineer
- Circuit and RF Design Expertise
- Proficiency with RF Test Equipment: Skilled in using advanced RF testing tools such as vector network analysers, spectrum analysers, waveform generators, and phase noise analysers
- Design Proving and Compliance
