We are working with a major Broker who is recruiting Technicians to join their expanding Division, serving Reinsurance clients.

Due to business growth, they have openings across multiple teams. While Reinsurance experience is advantageous, candidates with backgrounds in Insurance Claims or Underwriting who are eager to transition into Reinsurance are also encouraged to apply.

As a Reinsurance Technician, you will support your client base by processing insurance activities, securing reinsurance recoveries, and ensuring timely and accurate system entry.

This role offers a hybrid working model, with 2-3 days at home and the remaining days in the office.

As a Reinsurance Technician your responsibilities will include:

  • Manage your client portfolio, taking full responsibility of your client accounts, premiums and claims
  • Assess and submit client and/or reinsurer presentation materials and communications
  • Work with credit control to assist with collection of funds
  • Manage all brokerage receivables, funding, retention, e-trading, post booking receipt, payment of funds and all process steps
  • Resolve issues, problems and queries

A successful Candidate will demonstrate:

  • Experience of working within an Insurance technical or Claims Handling role
  • Successful handling of workload with an ability to manage expectations of all clients and stakeholders
  • Ability to engage with clients, market contacts and colleagues in a professional manner
