Salary Package: 46,586- 51,763 (depending on experience).

NonStop Care is working with one of the most reputable local councils in the Essex area in order to help them find a SEMH teacher, to provide specialist support, advice and guidance to schools, parents and colleagues in the development of inclusive strategies and interventions for students with Social, Emotional, and Mental Health (SEMH) needs.
This role is predominately school based, some working from home and office.
Key responsibilities of the SEMH Teacher:
- To assess the needs of children and young people with SEND through early identification and intervention (when required).
- To provide support, advice and guidance to schools and settings to improve provision and outcomes for children and young people with SEND/SEMH needs.
- To support and deliver modelling and training to schools and settings, and where appropriate, professionals and partner agencies on SEND matters.
Requirements:
- Qualified Teaching Status
- Minimum of 8-10 yrs teaching experience
- Must have leadership experience eg Senco, or Specialist experience such as running a provision, ARP, Unit, Special School
