Structural Technician - Contract
Chelmsford
36.00-39.00 per hour (outside IR35)
Are you available to start a new contract role next month? Are you fully conversant with RC detailing and scheduling?
Our client is seeking an experienced structural technician who has excellent CAD experience and will want to hear from you if you can answer yes to the above.
They need a technician capable of producing steelwork, masonry and timber drawings.
Good knowledge of building construction is required, and design experience would be an advantage.
Whilst you will work as part of a team, candidates must be prepared to work autonomously and be confident to carry out projects without full time input from the design engineer.
Excellent communication skills are vital, as dealing with emails and calls relating to the project will be part of your remit.
You must be prepared to attend site visits as and when needed, providing problem solving input.
The role sits within the building structures team of our successful client who offer multidiscipline engineering services.
