Adore Recruitment is delighted to be working with a successful, family-run business based near Chelmsford to recruit an experienced HR Manager.

This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced HR professional who thrives in a hands-on, fast-paced environment and is looking for a part-time role with flexibility. The company has built a strong reputation in the warehouse and distribution sector, and is looking for someone who can confidently support and guide their HR function.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the full employee lifecycle, including recruitment, onboarding, and offboarding
  • Liaise with both internal teams and external agency staffing providers
  • Ensure compliance with Health & Safety procedures and support regular audits
  • Conduct staff inductions, appraisals, and performance reviews
  • Develop and maintain training plans to support staff development
  • Provide ongoing HR advice and support to management and staff
  • Contribute to and lead on HR initiatives in line with business goals

Requirements:

  • Proven HR experience, ideally within a warehouse or distribution environment
  • Strong understanding of HR processes including recruitment, compliance, and performance management
  • Confident in dealing with agency staff and managing external staffing relationships
  • CIPD qualified (Level 5 or higher preferred)
  • Knowledge of employment law and HR best practices
  • Strong communication and organisational skills
