Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate SEND Teacher to join a supportive and forward-thinking School. In this role, you will work with pupils who have a range of Special Educational Needs and Disabilities, delivering high-quality, personalized learning that enables every child to thrive.

Key Responsibilities

  • Plan and deliver engaging, differentiated lessons to meet individual learning needs.
  • Create a safe, nurturing, and inclusive classroom environment.
  • Use a range of strategies and interventions to support communication, behaviour, and emotional regulation.
  • Work closely with teaching assistants, therapists, and parents/carers to ensure holistic support for each pupil.
  • Track progress and maintain accurate records, providing insightful feedback and reporting.
  • Contribute to the wider school community and champion best practice in SEND provision.

About You

  • Qualified Teacher Status / Proven experiences in Planning, Preparing and Marking
  • Experience working with children with SEND (ASD, SEMH, SLD, MLD, or other needs).
  • Strong understanding of inclusive teaching strategies and adaptive practice.
  • Resilient, creative, patient, and committed to seeing every pupil succeed.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  • A reflective practitioner with a desire for continued professional development.
