Solicitor - Professional Misconduct and Regulatory Law, Essex or Suffolk

We are currently working on behalf of a highly regarded and nationally recognised law firm to recruit an experienced Solicitor to join their exceptional Professional Misconduct and Regulatory Law Department. This team handles sensitive, complex, and often high-profile matters for clients in the Disciplined Services, both in the UK and internationally.
This is an excellent opportunity for a talented solicitor with a background in criminal defence, inquests, misconduct investigations, or regulatory law to take the next step in a career-defining role.
Key Responsibilities
- Representing clients in misconduct proceedings, regulatory investigations, and serious criminal matters
- Advising on disciplinary processes, inquests, and regulatory hearings
- Managing a diverse caseload with a high degree of autonomy
- Working closely with senior team members and external counsel to deliver strategic legal advice
Candidate Profile
- Qualified Solicitor with a minimum of 2 years' PQE
- Demonstrated experience in criminal law, professional discipline, or regulatory litigation
- Strong communication, drafting, and advocacy skills
- Proven ability to work well under pressure and handle complex, sensitive cases with professionalism
- Positive attitude and a collaborative mindset
