Solicitor - Professional Misconduct and Regulatory Law, Essex or Suffolk(Hybrid/Office-based options available)

We are currently working on behalf of a highly regarded and nationally recognised law firm to recruit an experienced Solicitor to join their exceptional Professional Misconduct and Regulatory Law Department. This team handles sensitive, complex, and often high-profile matters for clients in the Disciplined Services, both in the UK and internationally.

This is an excellent opportunity for a talented solicitor with a background in criminal defence, inquests, misconduct investigations, or regulatory law to take the next step in a career-defining role.

Key Responsibilities

  • Representing clients in misconduct proceedings, regulatory investigations, and serious criminal matters
  • Advising on disciplinary processes, inquests, and regulatory hearings
  • Managing a diverse caseload with a high degree of autonomy
  • Working closely with senior team members and external counsel to deliver strategic legal advice

Candidate Profile

  • Qualified Solicitor with a minimum of 2 years' PQE
  • Demonstrated experience in criminal law, professional discipline, or regulatory litigation
  • Strong communication, drafting, and advocacy skills
  • Proven ability to work well under pressure and handle complex, sensitive cases with professionalism
