Job Title: Site Supervisor – Solar Farm Project
Location: East Hanningfield, Essex
Start Date: End of October 2025
Duration: 11 Months (long-term contract)
Rate: £23.00 – £26.00 per hour CIS
The Role
We are seeking an experienced Site Supervisor to support the delivery of a large-scale solar farm build in East Hanningfield, Essex. You will work closely with the Site Manager to oversee day-to-day operations, manage trades and labour, and ensure health & safety standards are maintained at all times.
Responsibilities
Supervising site activities and coordinating labour
Enforcing health & safety standards across site
Supporting the Site Manager with progress reporting and site documentation
Liaising with subcontractors and ensuring works are delivered on time and to quality standards
Assisting with inductions, toolbox talks and RAMS implementation
Requirements
Valid SSSTS qualification (essential)
Previous experience as a Supervisor or Foreman in construction or renewables (solar experience an advantage)
Strong leadership and communication skills
Good knowledge of health & safety procedures on site
CSCS card preferred
