Site General Manager
Location: Essex (Full-Time, On-Site) Relocation On Offer

Salary £90,000 + Package

We are seeking an experienced Site General Manager to lead all aspects of site operations, including Manufacturing, Supply Chain, Engineering, Technical, and Health & Safety.

This is a hands-on leadership role suited to someone with a proven background in FMCG (Food & Beverage), and a strong focus on operational excellence, continuous improvement, and cultural development.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and develop cross-functional teams across production, warehousing, and supply chain.
  • Drive a culture of high performance, engagement, and continuous improvement.
  • Plan and manage production schedules using ERP/MRP systems (Microsoft D365 experience preferred).
  • Ensure health, safety, and food safety standards are maintained across the site.
  • Monitor stock, sales orders, and demand forecasting to optimise supply chain performance.
  • Implement and report on KPIs, driving accountability and results.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 5 years in a senior operations leadership role within FMCG (Food/Beverage).
  • Strong understanding of lean manufacturing and operational best practices.
  • Experience in managing large teams across multiple functions.
  • Skilled in production planning, negotiation, and supply chain management.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, ERP/MRP systems, and data-driven decision making.
