Astute's Power Team are currently recruiting an Overall Site Manager to oversee a Solar/BESS project in the South of England, with occasional travel to and from other projects in the UK.
The Oversee Site Manager position comes with an hourly rate from 45.00 to 50.00.
Role responsibilities and key skills for the role:
Oversee daily site activities for each of their projects within the renewables sector.
Manage site personnel and subcontractors, ensuring adherence to project plans, health & safety, and quality standards.
Liaise with project and construction managers to align site progress with programme milestones.
Maintain accurate site records, reports, and documentation.
Lead toolbox talks and ensure RAMS are implemented effectively.
Interface with the client and attend progress meetings.- Ensure compliance with CDM, company HSEQ standards, and statutory regulations.
- Proven experience as an Electrical Site Manager on Renewable Energy projects including Solar, Battery Storage, Peaking Plants etc.
SMSTS qualification (essential).
ECS/CSCS card (essential).
18th Edition Wiring Regulations (preferred).
Experience managing subcontractors and site teams.
Strong understanding of health & safety and QA/QC procedures.
Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings and schematics.
