Equipment Tester

Hours: Monday - Friday 7.30am - 5.00pm

Our client is seeking methodical and hardworking Equipment Testers to join their teams in their Chelmsford and Rayleigh workshops. This role is perfect for individuals who take pride in their work and have an interest in machinery and electrical equipment.

Day-to-day of the role:

Clean, maintain, and service equipment once it is returned from hire.

Perform electrical testing on all returned equipment to ensure they meet safety standards.

Maintain high standards of cleanliness and organisation within the workshop.

Carry out minor repairs on equipment as needed.

Ensure all safety information labels are displayed clearly and precisely on all equipment.

Input testing information onto a customised computer system.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

Mechanical knowledge: 1 year (preferred).

GCSE or equivalent (preferred).

Full UK driving licence (preferred).

Comprehensive training will be provided, including PAT Testing, IPAF & PASMA courses, Manual Handling, Fork Lift Truck training, and more.
