Office Manager

Up to £35K DOE | Mon-Fri 9am-5:30pm | Hybrid working | 25 days holiday plus B/H | Accountancy practice / friendly team environment | Internal accounts / administration / staff wellbeing | Proactive / collaborative / willing

Our client is an accountancy practice who take pride in offering first class support to business leaders. A friendly, proactive team, they are actively seeking an Office Manager to join them.

The ideal candidate will have all round nominal ledger experience to work in a small internal team. The candidate will be proactive and able to self-manage and will have day to day involvement in the running of the business providing information to decision makers.

Duties (include but are not limited to)

  • Daily Bank Account Reconciliations (On Xero)
  • Credit control
  • Processing of supplier invoices and payments
  • Liaising with a small number of suppliers
  • Processing of direct debit collections (2-3 per Month)
  • Raising of client invoices
  • Providing highly confidential administrative support to 4 Directors
  • Ad-hoc reporting to Managers
  • Maintaining and ensuring the effective running of the company wellbeing policy
  • Supervising and providing support to an Administrator
  • General administrative duties including ordering equipment and supplies, reviewing supplier costs, and ensuring the smooth running of the office
  • Occasional assistance at client events

Person Specification

  • Minimum 3 years’ accounts experience
  • Trained Mental Health First Aider advantageous but not essential
  • Working experience with Xero advantageous
  • A proactive, well-organised individual with a great deal of initiative
  • Excellent communication (both written and verbal) and presentation skills
