We are recruiting for experienced Ambulance Care Assistants to work out of the Chelmsford area. The successful candidates will be either FREC 3 or above qualified, IHCD Tech or have ambulance service training and experience.

The role of the Ambulance Care Assistant involves the transportation of non-urgent patients to and from health/social care premises and private residences. This is a responsible role which requires a professional and caring attitude, as well as teamwork.You will work in a team of two, undertaking duties in a variety of vehicle types.

As an Ambulance Care Assistant, you will need to be flexible, adaptable, and at times, discreet. A good sense of humour and local knowledge of the area will also be an advantage.
