About the Role:
As a Primary School Teacher specializing in SEMH, you will play a vital role in supporting students with diverse emotional and behavioral needs. You will create a nurturing and engaging classroom environment, adapt teaching strategies to meet individual needs, and work closely with school staff and external professionals to promote student well-being and academic progress.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and deliver high-quality lessons tailored to students with SEMH needs
- Foster a positive, inclusive, and supportive classroom atmosphere
- Monitor and assess student progress, providing appropriate interventions
- Collaborate with colleagues, parents, and external agencies to support student development
- Maintain accurate records and contribute to the overall well-being of students
What We Are Looking For:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
- Experience working with children with SEMH or in a similar special education setting
- Strong behaviour management skills and patience
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
- A genuine passion for supporting vulnerable children and helping them thrive
