ROLE: -New Product Development Engineer
* The role involves runningthe NPD department of around 3people, whilst remaining hands-on.
* From a management perspective, you'll be providing support & guidance to an experienced team as and when required.
Plus ensuring sector and product compliance, plus reporting progress, updates and developments to Senior Management.
*The roleinvolves ironing out issues with current products, and implementing NPDprocesses to keep their product range at the leading edge of the market place.
* Developingand drive a 1-2 year roadmap, whilst working with the team on ongoing projects, with emphasis on re-design of current products.

PERSON:-New Product Development Manager
Essential experience:
1. Experience of working in anNPD department for mechanical products.
2. Great communication skills
3. Ambition and capability of managing a team. This role could suit either a Graduate with 4-5 years plusexperience of NPD, or a more experienced NPD Engineer or Manager who is looking to move to a company that is in a good growth market.

Desirable experience:
1. Knowledge of heating/cooling components.
2. Management experience
3. Degree or HNC/HND qualified in mechanical engineering or related subject.

PACKAGE: -New Product Development Manager
A basic salary up to approxc58k
25 days holiday.

LOCATION -New Product Development Manager
This role is based in Essex. Ideallocations are: Colchester, Chelmsford, Basildon, Braintree, Harlow.
