About the Role:

We are currently seeking an experienced Quantity Surveyor on behalf of a leading construction contractor known for their expertise in Drylining, Partitions, and Ceiling Systems across major projects in London. This is a fantastic opportunity for a motivated professional looking to advance their career with a respected name in the industry.

Key Responsibilities:

- Assisting in the preparation of project budgets and administering project contracts.

- Measuring project progress to verify quantities against tender allowances.

- Preparing tender documents for subcontract works and specialist suppliers.

- Setting budgets and managing payments for subcontract labour; handling variations as they arise.

- Producing detailed cost reports for clients, ensuring transparency and accuracy.

- Supporting the preparation and negotiation of final accounts for projects.

- Negotiating and agreeing on final accounts within parameters set by the Line Manager.

About You:

- Degree in Construction Management, Quantity Surveying, or a related field (preferred) OR 5+ years of relevant experience in the construction industry.

- Proven experience with specialist interior fit-out contractors is highly desirable.

- Familiarity with JCT 2005 & JCT 2011 contracts (with and without Design Portion), D&B, Fixed Price, and NEC contracts.

- Strong negotiation and interpersonal skills.

- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to engage confidently with clients and suppliers.
