We are currently recruiting for a Lettings Negotiator for our family run Estate Agency client based in Chelmsford. The ideal candidate must have a minimum of 6 months + lettings experience. You must have an understanding of the lettings process and be up to date with current legislation.Candidates must be a UK Resident and ideally live within a 30-minute commute of the area. You will need to hold a full UK driving licence and have the use of your own car.Benefits for the role of Lettings Negotiator:

  • Basic £20,000 - £22,000
  • OTE £30,000 - £35,000 DOE
  • Monday to Friday 9am - 5.30pm, Saturdays 9am - 4pm with day off in lieu
  • 5 day week

Responsibilities for the role of Lettings Negotiator:

  • Always delivering exceptional customer service
  • Liaising between landlords and tenants
  • Providing up to date advice and information
  • Property inspections
  • Conducting viewings
  • Booking appointments
  • Negotiating lettings contracts
  • Registering applicants
  • Generating new business
  • Listing new properties
  • Building the market share
  • Be up to date with current compliance and legislation

Key Skills for the role of Lettings Negotiator:

  • Minimum 6 months + experience as a Lettings Negotiator
  • A high level of customer service skills
  • The desire to work well in a team, and independently
  • Excellent organisational and prioritisation skills
  • High accuracy and attention to detail
  • Drive, hunger and ambition for success
  • Well-spoken with a good telephone manner and excellent communication skills
