Lettings Negotiator – Chelmsford

I’m partnering with a highly regarded independent estate agency in Chelmsford, Essex

They are a fast-growing business with a reputation for delivering outstanding results and exceptional client service. Off the back of sustained success and expansion, they’re now looking to strengthen their team with a driven Lettings Negotiator to help meet increasing demand in the local rental market.

Salary Package:

• Base: £22,000 – £28,000
• OTE: £40,000 – £50,000+ (uncapped)

The Role:

As a Lettings Negotiator, you’ll be at the centre of tenant–landlord relations, playing a vital role in matching people with their perfect homes and supporting landlords throughout the lettings process. You will:

• Engage with landlords and tenants via multiple channels to generate business
• Arrange and conduct property viewings, highlighting key features and benefits
• Negotiate rental terms and secure successful lets
• Proactively grow the landlord and property database through canvassing and referrals
• Manage listings, marketing campaigns, and property advertisements
• Liaise with referencing agencies and coordinate move-in processes
• Deliver exceptional service, maintaining long-term relationships with clients
• Keep up-to-date with local market trends and competitor activity

Ideal Candidate:

• Proven experience as a Lettings Negotiator or similar role in estate agency
• Confident communicator with strong negotiation skills
• Target-driven, proactive, and highly organised
• Ability to work independently and as part of a dynamic team
• Passion for property and delivering excellent customer service
• Full UK driving licence own car
