Graduate Robotics Engineer
Salary: 30,000 - 45,000 (DOE)

Role Overview:
We're seeking an innovative Robotics Engineer to lead the development of a remote-controlled gutter-cleaning robot from concept through to prototype and production. You'll design, test, and refine a robot capable of operating on rooftops with features like camera vision, a vacuum hose interface, powered wheels, and a scraper arm.
This is a hands-on R&D role offering creative freedom and the chance to help solve real-world maintenance challenges in the construction and property management sectors.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead design and development of a mobile robotic cleaning system
- Develop and test mechanical components including chassis, armature, and wheelbase
- Integrate cameras, sensors, lights, and remote-control systems
- Prototype arm attachment for debris removal
- Coordinate with suppliers to source motors, batteries, and control units
- Design for rugged, lightweight, and weather-resistant operation
- Collaborate with external partners and clients to meet functional requirements
Essential Requirements:
- Degree in Robotics, Mechatronics, Mechanical, or Electronic Engineering
- Proven experience with robot development or remote-controlled systems
- Strong CAD design and prototyping skills (SolidWorks, Fusion 360)
- Experience with embedded systems, microcontrollers (e.g. Arduino, Raspberry Pi)
- Understanding of DC motor control, battery systems, and wireless communication
- Ability to build and test functional prototypes
Desirable:
- Experience in designing for outdoor environments or rough terrain
- Familiarity with vacuum systems or debris collection
- Experience with startup-style R&D or small product development teams
