An exciting opportunity has arisen for a dedicated and enthusiastic Teacher of English to join a thriving secondary school community on a maternity cover basis from January/February 2026.
We are seeking an inspiring teacher with a passion for language and literature, committed to engaging students of all abilities and fostering a lifelong love of learning. The successful candidate will join a supportive and collaborative department that strives for excellence in every lesson.
We are looking for someone who:

Has the ability to teach English across Key Stages 3 and 4 (Key Stage 5 desirable).

Demonstrates excellent subject knowledge and creative teaching approaches.
