Are you passionate about bringing the past to life for young minds? A well-established and high-achieving secondary school in Essex is seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated History Teacher to join its dynamic humanities faculty from January.
This is an exciting opportunity to teach across Key Stages 3 and 4, with the potential to contribute to A-Level teaching for the right candidate. The successful applicant will be joining a supportive team that values curiosity, critical thinking, and a love of learning.
We are looking for someone who:
- Has QTS/QTLS or a comparable teaching qualification

Is an excellent classroom practitioner with strong subject knowledge, able to plan, prepare and mark History lessons to KS3 and KS4

Has a genuine enthusiasm for History and inspiring young people

Demonstrates high expectations for all students and a commitment to achievement

Is a team player with good communication and organisational skills
