The Role: We are seeking a qualified Science Teacher to join our dynamic faculty on a permanent basis starting in September 2025. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering engaging and effective lessons in Physics, Chemistry, and Biology, tailored to the needs of our diverse student body. You will inspire students to explore the wonders of science, develop critical thinking skills, and foster a curiosity about the world around them.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan, prepare, and deliver high-quality lessons in accordance with the national curriculum.
- Assess, record, and report on student progress and development.
- Create a positive and inclusive learning environment that fosters student engagement.
- Collaborate with colleagues to enhance the science curriculum and share best practices.
- Participate in ongoing professional development and contribute to the school community.
Qualifications:
- A relevant degree in Science or a related field.
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
- Previous teaching experience in a secondary school setting is preferred, but NQT/ECT applications are welcome.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- A passion for science and a commitment to student success.
