MMP are working with an Essex Local Authority to recruit a temporary Senior Surveyor on a 6-12 month basis. Please note that this post requires the successful individual to be based on site a minimum of 3 days per week.
Essex (just off the M11) is an excellent location to both live and work, offering a thriving community with great shopping, leisure facilities, and strong transport links. The area benefits from quick access to the M11 and M25, along with rail connections to London and Stansted Airport, only 35 and 20 minutes away respectively.



Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced and motivated Senior Surveyor to lead and manage surveying projects from conception to completion. The successful candidate will ensure all work is delivered accurately, on time, and within budget while maintaining compliance with industry and legal standards. Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and execute a variety of surveying projects, overseeing all stages from planning to delivery.
  • Conduct detailed land, boundary, topographical, and construction surveys using advanced surveying equipment and software.
  • Prepare accurate survey reports, drawings, and maps that meet client and regulatory requirements.
  • Liaise with clients to understand project needs, provide expert advice, and deliver high-quality outcomes.
  • Supervise, mentor, and train junior surveyors, promoting best practices and professional development.
  • Ensure all surveying activities comply with legal, safety, and quality standards.
