Associate Accountant

Our client is a fast growing and well renowned accounting firm who are seeking an ambitious candidate to join and help grow their team. This role will offer excellent career prospects and potential study support for the right person.

Main areas of responsibility:

  • Payroll
  • Accounts payable processing and payment
  • Management of client funds
  • Employee expenses reimbursement
  • Management accounts
  • VAT and other indirect taxes

The ideal candidate:

  • A desire to study for an accountancy qualification (ACA/ACCA/AAT)
  • Organised and able to deal with multiple deadlines and prioritise tasks.
  • Able to share knowledge within the team and carry out research as needed.
  • Awareness of risk, and ability deliver high quality documents first time
  • IT skills - ability to use Microsoft Excel, Word and accounting systems, such as Xero, NetSuite etc.
  • Excellent communication skills, and an ability to gain trust and develop relationships quickly.
