Description

  • Prepare monthly management accounts for multiple holding companies.
  • Manage intercompany loan transactions, including repayments and interest.
  • Oversee accounting for dividend flows between group entities.
  • Collaborate with Group Treasury on cash pooling and FX-related transactions.
  • Maintain accurate balance sheet reconciliations and internal controls.
  • Support the preparation of year-end financial statements (2025).
  • Ensure compliance with group accounting policies and procedures.
  • Liaise with internal stakeholders to resolve accounting queries.
  • Assist with audit preparation and respond to audit queries as needed.

Profile

The successful applicant should have:

  • AAT qualified or part-qualified (ACCA/CIMA) with strong accounting fundamentals.
  • Proven experience in preparing monthly management accounts.
  • Comfortable managing intercompany transactions and reconciliations.
  • Exposure to cash pooling and FX (foreign exchange) transactions.
  • Strong understanding of balance sheet reconciliations and internal controls.
  • Experience working in or with holding companies or group structures.
  • Proficient in accounting systems such as SAP, Oracle, or Sage.
  • Highly organised, detail-oriented, and able to meet deadlines.
  • Confident working independently and collaborating with wider teams.
  • Strong Excel skills (e.g., Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP).
  • Excellent communication skills for liaising with internal stakeholders.
  • Adaptable and proactive, with a problem-solving mindset.
