Description
- Prepare monthly management accounts for multiple holding companies.
- Manage intercompany loan transactions, including repayments and interest.
- Oversee accounting for dividend flows between group entities.
- Collaborate with Group Treasury on cash pooling and FX-related transactions.
- Maintain accurate balance sheet reconciliations and internal controls.
- Support the preparation of year-end financial statements (2025).
- Ensure compliance with group accounting policies and procedures.
- Liaise with internal stakeholders to resolve accounting queries.
- Assist with audit preparation and respond to audit queries as needed.
Profile
The successful applicant should have:
- AAT qualified or part-qualified (ACCA/CIMA) with strong accounting fundamentals.
- Proven experience in preparing monthly management accounts.
- Comfortable managing intercompany transactions and reconciliations.
- Exposure to cash pooling and FX (foreign exchange) transactions.
- Strong understanding of balance sheet reconciliations and internal controls.
- Experience working in or with holding companies or group structures.
- Proficient in accounting systems such as SAP, Oracle, or Sage.
- Highly organised, detail-oriented, and able to meet deadlines.
- Confident working independently and collaborating with wider teams.
- Strong Excel skills (e.g., Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP).
- Excellent communication skills for liaising with internal stakeholders.
- Adaptable and proactive, with a problem-solving mindset.
