About the Role

As a Sales & Customer Service Executive, you will play a vital role in supporting existing customers while helping to grow new business. This is a fast-paced, varied position combining account management, lead generation, and day-to-day sales support. You will work closely with the internal team and external clients, providing product advice, quotations, and processing orders.

What you’ll be doing

Sales:

  • Building strong relationships with existing clients to maximise repeat business
  • Researching and identifying potential new customers
  • Presenting product solutions and benefits clearly and confidently
  • Sourcing bespoke products and pricing from suppliers
  • Tracking and following up on all open quotations

Customer Service:

  • Processing customer orders and quotations efficiently
  • Responding to enquiries with accurate product/service information
  • Handling complaints and resolving issues professionally
  • Maintaining accurate records and using the CRM system daily

What we’re looking for

  • 2-5 years’ experience in a sales or customer-facing role (ideally within industrial or engineering sectors)
  • Experience using Sage 50 (essential)
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office
  • A valid UK driving licence
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills
  • Motivated, proactive, organised and customer-focused
  • Knowledge of lubricants or lubrication equipment is a bonus but not essential
