Day-to-day of the role:- Lead product and process development projects from concept to commercialisation.
- Collaborate with customers and commercial teams to develop tailored solutions.
- Plan and execute laboratory and pilot-scale trials using scientific and mathematical methods.
- Work cross-functionally with manufacturing, procurement, and technical teams.
- Benchmark competitor technologies and contribute to patentable innovations.
- Supervise and mentor laboratory technicians.
- Present technical findings to internal and external stakeholders.
- BSc in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, or Materials Science with 5+ years of relevant experience, or MSc with 3+ years in product development.
- Experience with material testing methods and performance evaluation.
- Strong leadership, project management, and communication skills.
- Six Sigma Green Belt certification (preferred).
- Proven ability to work collaboratively in cross-functional teams.
