Meridian is recruiting for a Production Operative - Assembly on an ongoing temporary contract in Cheltenham (GL51).
The position offers a salary ranging from £12.80 to £13.44 per hour with a working schedule of Monday to Friday, 6.30am to 3.15pm.
Candidates are expected to have experience in production or assembly, as well as familiarity with electric and manual tools.
The role involves assembling mechanical components, testing finished products, and ensuring adherence to health and safety policies.
Additional benefits include 27 paid days holiday, a staff canteen, free parking, and the potential for a temp-to-perm transition.

Main duties & responsibilities but not limited of a Production Operative - Assembly:

Assembling mechanical (metal) componentsaccording to Standard Operating Procedures documents;
Build and test of product in line with instruction sheets to required quality standard;
Testing finished products;
Packing finished products ready for dispatch along with associated duties as required;
Ensure company H&S policy is adhered to raise safety concerns to supervision
Assisting with 5S

Skills / Experience thats required for the role Production Operative - Assembly:

Experience of Production/Assembly
Experience of Electric/Manual Tools
Competent in safe use of PPE and work equipment
Able to follow work instructions
Keen eye for detail anda conscientious attitude
