About the Role:As an Internal Sales Executive, you will play a crucial role in delivering exceptional service to our customers through the sale of our diverse product range. Your responsibilities will include efficiently responding to customer enquiries and orders, building rapport, and establishing credibility with both existing and new customers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Build and maintain strong relationships with existing customers to understand their needs and maximize sales revenue.
- Proactively source new customers through market research, building your own customer portfolio.
- Present products and/or services to potential customers, highlighting their benefits.
- Liaise with management on bespoke requests, sourcing prices for products and delivery from suppliers.
- Follow up on all open quotations, generating reports for management.
- Process purchase orders/quotations based on customer requests and enquiries in a timely manner.
- Respond to customer enquiries, providing product and/or service information.
- Address customer complaints and provide resolutions promptly.
- Maintain detailed records of all interactions with customers.
- Operate a CRM system effectively.
Your Skills & Attributes:
- Valid UK driving licence.
- Experience working in an industrial/engineering/sales environment.
- Knowledge of industrial lubricants and equipment is advantageous but not essential.
- Knowledge of Sage version 50 is essential.
- Proven track record in generating new customer leads (2 to 5 years’ experience).
- Proficient with Microsoft Office.
- Excellent communication and organisational skills.
- Highly motivated and customer-driven.
- Ability to work to deadlines and targets.
