Were building something unique at The Lamb Inn a much-loved Cotswolds pub with big culinary ambitions and were looking for a Chef de Partie whos excited to grow, learn, and help shape whats next.
This is more than just a job on the line. Its a chance to cook thoughtfully, explore new cuisines, and be part of a close-knit kitchen team with a genuine passion for hospitality and creativity.
What We're About:At The Lamb, we serve honest, seasonal food in a warm village pub setting but we're also pushing boundaries. Alongside our la carte menus, we're developing a tasting menu concept a restaurant within a restaurant right here in the pub.
Every month, we host a deep-dive themed night, where the team explores a different global cuisine from the bold spices of Sichuan to the elegance of French bistro, or the fire and smoke of South American grills. These arent gimmicks they're immersive, creative, and educational, and the whole team gets involved in the research, development and execution.
The Role:Run your section with care, calm and confidence
Work closely with our Head and Sous Chefs on prep, service, and dish development
Contribute ideas for tasting menus and theme nights
Take part in regular tastings and creative workshops
Uphold high standards of hygiene, organisation and teamwork
Learn, push yourself, and evolve every day
Experience in a professional kitchen (ideally at CDP level or ready for it)
Curiosity about flavours, techniques, and global cuisines
Reliability, attention to detail, and pride in your work
A willingness to grow and be part of a collaborative kitchen
