Anderselite are working with a leading multi-disciplinary consultancy who are seeking to appoint a Chartered Building Surveyor to join their established team in Cheltenham. This is a fantastic opportunity to progress your career working on a diverse range of national and local commissions across multiple sectors.

The Role

You will be involved in delivering building surveying services on projects ranging from small-scale refurbishments to large new build and redevelopment schemes, with values from £50k to £30m+. The role offers a varied workload across residential, commercial, education, healthcare, retail, and public estates, alongside opportunities to lead projects and mentor junior team members.

Key Responsibilities
- Undertaking building and condition surveys and preparing reports.
- Advising on design, construction, maintenance, repair and refurbishment of residential, commercial and educational properties.
- Preparing specifications, tender documents, schedules of condition, and contract administration.
- Carrying out defect analysis, dilapidations, and insurance reinstatement work.
- Acting as lead consultant and managing multi-disciplinary teams on refurbishment and new build projects.
- Advising clients on compliance with building regulations and technical standards.
- Managing party wall matters, notices, and awards.
- Leading projects through all stages, including client liaison and development.
- Supervising, mentoring and supporting junior surveyors.
- Managing quality assurance across deliverables.

Candidate Requirements
- MRICS qualified.
- Strong technical knowledge of building surveying across multiple sectors.
- Consultancy background with experience managing client relationships.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Capable of leading projects and coordinating multi-disciplinary teams.
- Experience mentoring junior colleagues.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
