Job Title: Fire Risk Assessor Type: Temp (rolling)Location: CheltenhamSalary: NegotiableHours: 37 hours a week BRC are working closely with a local authority in Cheltenham. As a Fire Risk Assessor, you will be responsible for assessing fire doors and their installations, primarily across communal areas and occasionally within residential properties. Your assessments will play a key role in ensuring compliance with fire safety regulations and maintaining high safety standards across all sites. Key Responsibilities:

Carry out fire door inspections and general fire risk assessments
Evaluate the condition and compliance of fire doors and associated installations
Document findings accurately and make practical recommendations for remediation
Liaise with property managers, residents, and contractors as required
Ensure compliance with current fire safety legislation and industry standards

Requirements:

Proven experience in fire risk assessment, particularly in communal and residential settings
Relevant fire safety qualifications (e.g., NEBOSH Fire, FPA, IFSM, or equivalent)
Strong knowledge of fire safety regulations and fire door standards
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Ability to work independently and manage a flexible schedule
